Medical Education

Dr Alrubaie had his Bachelor degree in Medicine from Baghdad university in Iraq in 1978.After migrating to Australia in 1995 he did Australian Medical Council examinations to finish all its 3 parts in 1996.He then started his medical training in St George and Prince of Wales Hospitals .He awarded Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of Physician (FRACP) in 2003.He had his advanced training in Gastroenterology at Westmead, Liverpool and Bankstown Hospitals and had postgraduate endoscopic training (particularly in double balloon enteroscopy) in Tokyo-Japan (with professor Yamamoto)

Medical Practice

Dr Alrubaie is visiting Medical Officer at Bankstown Hospital and his main medical practice is located at 58 Gallipoli Street /Bankstown 2200 .He performs his endoscopic procedures at Bankstown Hospital and
Liverpool Day Surgery.

Main interest

Dr Alrubaie is interested in general and therapeutic endoscopy with special interest in small bowel endoscopy (including Capsule Endoscopy, Double balloon enteroscopy, Spiral enteroscopy)
