Liverpool Day Surgery is a fully licensed private day hospital in Chipping Norton, NSW, providing high-quality same-day surgical services for more than 30 years. The facilities are designed to support specialists with efficient theatre access, experienced staff, quality equipment and proactive surgical solutions.

Liverpool Day Surgery (LDS) is an ISO 9001 : 2008 Certified day procedure centre located in the suburb of Chipping Norton.

Facilities and Technology

The day surgery has 4 operating theatres, a 23 bed first stage recovery and 10 recliner chair second stage recovery. Our facility’s well planned design allows for a smooth transition from admission to theatre and finally discharge on one level, ensuring a quick turn-around time in between patients/procedures. We employ our regular theatre staff allowing you to develop a rapport with your theatre team.

Specialist Consulting Suites

Are you seeking sessional or full time suites for your practice ?

We can offer you:

• A choice of consulting rooms
• Half or full time sessions are available as well as long term leases
• Business facilities – all suites are networked as have wireless internet
• We have imaging facilities on site and are close to pathology and pharmacy
• Close to public transport

We are conveniently located – we are just off the M5, close to the M7, Hume Highway and Newbridge road. We have free onsite parking including disabled parking and access.

Our Equipment

We have 2 surgical class theatres dedicated to endoscopy which are equipped with the latest equipment including:

State of the art Pentax EPK-i Processors and latest 90 series HD scopes with i-Scan technology
14 x Endoscopes – comprising 6 upper, 8 lower (including 4 paediatric) – combined with 2 x Medivator automated re-processors operated by dedicated GENCA trained staff
Co2 insoflattion system (reducing post-operative wind pain)
ERBE Electrosurgical Generators
Auxiliary Water Jet Pumps
Sony 24” HD LCD monitors
USB image capture
Sony Colour Video printers
Single use (disposable) hot and cold forceps and snares
